Stayne – Knave of Hearts

This original painting is #1 in my new signature style series – “Alice in Zombieland” (Mad World of the Dead – Series #1)

Stayne – Knave of Hearts is one of the characters from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland Movie who was the accomplice to the Red Queen. This artwork represents an undead knave of hearts.

I wanted to create a very unique subject matter so I used the famous headless horseman story to paint Stayne as a zombie holding his head as he rides his horse into battle with the red cards behind him.
