Stigmata

Stigmata – DEFINITION: a mark, sign, etc. indicating that something is not considered normal or standard

I chose this definition after the piece was finished to make my point in this painting. This is my mark I made to show the world that I am different. I exist and I am different. This artwork represents me and all my colors with many tears dripping down. Not tears for me but for the world. A very colorful place full of never ending stories and surprises. I poured the color over the textured canvas to create drama. A dramatic piece of art to entertain the viewer. Year 2010
